The Palace of Atmpis is just a block northwest of Navona Square, and there is a wonderful porch with a great museum of ancient Roman statues, the most beautiful of which is Gaul's killing himself, and the exhibits belong to a former Cardinal family.

Friends who like Roman sculpture must visit here, the museum collection is very good, the staff is not friendly.
This is the first museum we went to in Italy and I think that's a good thing. This place eased us into the plethora of culture there is in the rest of the country. It laid a good foundation of the history and helped us understand the actual history behind a lot of the pieces.
