Building a church in the snowy place tonight, this is about the origin of this church, is the Pope's masterpiece after the dream of the Virgin Mary, she is very high in the hearts of the Romans, known as one of the four Catholic special pontificates.
The front of the church is a bell tower, the interior is Renaissance-style plaid flat, surrounded by frescoes from the fifth century mosaics, and has a variety of styles since it has been renovated many times.
A very big basilica in the center of Rome. there is also a safety check in the entrance like in Vatican.
Overall it is not bad, I recommend everyone to see
The Cathedral of Notre Dame Majeor is really close to the Temini train station, so the train came here to visit. Entering the church requires security checks. The level of the church is still very high! It is also a boutique collection, an eye-opener, the church is really gorgeous and majestic.
Legend has it that in the summer of the 4th century, the Virgin Mary dreamed to Pope Liberio, who built a monastery in the snow to show the glory of the Virgin. The next morning, the Pope ordered the church to be built on Esquilino Mountain, which is also known as the Temple of the Snow of Our Lady. Now it also has white rose petals to symbolize the activity of the holy site. The church is also the first church in the world to be named after the Virgin Mary. The current Pope visits the Basilica of the Virgin before and after returning home. It was built around the fourth century AD. The dome depicts the Coronation of the Virgin. Oil paintings depict the birth of the Virgin.
