Just driving thru
Nothing special. Winding road, lots of trees, some trails. Oh well. Guess I was expecting more as gold rush days were close by, is fed by Tahoe traffic. Just expected more.
beautiful wilderness area
I really enjoyed visiting Eldorado National Park, the smell of cedar in the night air and amazing sunsets, wildlife is abundant!

This is a great area for all of the things you want to do outdoors. The main thing we did here was hike Horsetail Falls trail. Moderate is an accurate description of the trail. Dogs welcome. So many g...
