Piha Beach

We came to this hotel on a weekend night last summer when we thought about watching the sunset while eating fish and chips. The plan was wrong when we found out that all the food nearby was only served ice cream, as all the kitchens were closed this season! The sunset climbs up the dunes on the beach to be very interesting, with long white clouds emblematic of New Zealand on the horizon. Several brave men in wet suits surf outside and others walking their dogs on the beach.
