水戸藩9代藩主徳川斉昭が選んだ、水戸八景のうちのひとつです。願入寺の北側にあり、那珂川と涸沼川の合流地点の風景を見ることができます。展望台が整備されており、訪問時は天候も良く、長閑な光景を見ることができました。
