You can experience painting clay dolls. Not only local clay dolls, but also many clay dolls of unique zodiac and Hina dolls throughout Japan were exhibited.

中野市街からだとけっこう歩きます。 地元の「中野人形」、「立ヶ花人形」といった土人形コレクションを展示。金太郎に恵比寿様、おいらんに中国、日本の武将たち。素朴な中にも不思議と芸術的な輝きもあって、なかなかの見応えでした。

全国から集められた土人形

信州中野駅からすぐ地元の江戸時代からの歴史をもつ伝統の中野人形、明治時代からの歴史をもつ立ケ花人形をふくめ2000点にもおよぶ土人形を展示する専門のミュージアムです。伝統的な作品から現代作家の新しい土人形が見れます。入館料は200円です。
