Wanfodong

Mizhi Wanfo Cave, also known as Wanfu Cave, is located on the right bank of the Wuding River on the Ganqin Line 8 kilometers north of the county. On the horizontal surface of the cliff, there are 12 caves of varying heights and sizes. The central cave is the main hall, known as the "Gallan Guardian", which is called the "Wanfo Cave." The whole Wanfo Cave is connected by many holes, and it is a natural work. Some strange stones and the danger of the landscape are nothing but amazing, making people linger; climbing high and looking far, refreshing and happy.

Wanfodong, also known as Wanfudong, is located on the right bank of the Wuding River 8 kilometers north of Yulin Mizhi County, Shaanxi Province. There are 29 caves, which are the most caves in northern Shaanxi. The biggest advantage of attractions is free.

The Wanfo Cave Grottoes are the first stop of our trip today. This attraction was destroyed by the Cultural Revolution. Only the main cave is relatively complete. The cave wall and 2 square stone pillars are carved with 20cm high stone statues. The 8 stone carvings directly above the cave roof are the real objects of the Ming Dynasty, and the round stone carvings above the cave door are made by the Qing Dynasty. Leaving Wanfodong to the east to Jiang's Manor, to the intersection of Zaozhang Road, and then encountering road repairs, you have to give up the north Xianglu Temple. Xianglu Temple is located in Shanxi Province on the west side of the Yellow River between the Jialin Yellow River Bridge and the Yellow River Bridge in Linxian County. The Xianglu Temple was built in the Ming Wanli period. It relies on the periphery of the city wall of Jiaxian County. The terrain is prominent and dangerous. It overlooks the Jialin Bridge. It recalls yesterday from the east side of the Yellow River to the west side. The feeling of escape from the sky is still not complete.

The main cave Galan guard hall, the plane is square, 8 meters wide, deep 11.6 meters, high 4.7 meters, the front of the cave has 15 square grids, the inside relief flowers, grass, Rui beast and other patterns, the center of the second half is the uplift, the middle is the eight-outside reliefs a week Jiejia fell to sit on the small Buddha. The square stone altar is chiselled under the front of the cave. There are 3 sumizus, and there is a rectangular stone altar foundation on both sides. There are two rectangular stone pillars in the cave. They go directly to the roof of the cave. They are wide and 19 meters thick. The small Buddha and the title are carved on the top. It is not suitable for statues in the rock fault in the middle of the pillar. The two walls of the cave are chiselled in different shapes, and the small Buddhas with various shapes are recorded in question. The total number of small Buddhas on the right wall is 15 layers, 165 bodies per layer, 20 layers on the right, 165 bodies per layer, plus two pillars about 10,000 Zun, 25 pieces of question mark, of which there is "Tianfo Cave First Camp for Refusal „„. "And Qing Dynasty Yulin famous calligrapher Ye Lan handbook "Lingying" and so on. The caves in each cave moved stone statue 12, the remnant of the monument, 2 turtle-shaped stone monument.

Yulin to the national road of Mizhi, close to the steep cliff of the Wuding River, stretching more than 100 meters, layer by layer scattered 29 caves. The old grandfather was the janitor, and the key to the cave was in his hand. From the platform to the cave entrance of the cliff, he had to continue to climb steep and narrow ladders. The old grandfather who walked a little trembling climbed the ladder but was very healthy. He visited a large cave. It is estimated that the Galan Guardian Hall in the introduction is densely covered with small Buddha statues, but the weathering is very serious. In addition, many Buddha heads are gone. It is said that it was destroyed during the Cultural Revolution. The zenith has some paintings that look old. Now there are some brightly colored modern-made golden Buddha statues in the cave. Grandpa opened a few doors to let me visit. Standing at the entrance of the cave, you can see the Wuding River and the highway on the Wuding River from the northwest, passing in front of Wanfo Cave and going southeast. The grotto is not small, but the age of the chisel is uncertain, it is said to be built from the Song Dynasty to the Ming Dynasty. Wanfo Cave is 6 kilometers away from the center of Mizhi County and can take a taxi. If you drive, there is no special parking lot, just park in the open space on the side of the national road at the gate. Visit free.

On the way back to Baotou the next morning, I passed Wanfo Cave for a tour. Wanfodong is located on the right bank of the Wuding River, 8 kilometers north of Mizhi County, and is west of the national road. Wanfodong was dug in the Song Dynasty to the Ming Dynasty. There are 29 caves, the grottoes are 126 meters long, and most of the Buddha statues in the caves have been damaged.
