Caitherfield City Ruins Park, the weather was not very good on the day, but I still felt a strong sense of industry, the epitome of Manchester's industrial revolution. What surprised me most was that the pigeons here seemed not to be afraid of people at all.

Catherfield is a beautiful area on the edge of Manchester, and boats on the canal give a nice view and calming. There are plenty of bars and restaurants, especially good in summer, from here to Old Trafford by boat.
I wandered in there one morning and as I was admiring the Johnny Depp self portrait, a guy who was working there just happened to walk in. He proceeded to give the best introduction to art ( Johnny Depp, Bob Dylan and Billy Connolly) I could have hoped for.Must have been about 45 mins long - coffee included!Just Brilliant! So Grateful to you
Very good and worth a visit! The scenery is beautiful and the photos are more popular on sunny days, and the transportation is convenient for weekend travel.
this is a beautiful gem hidden away from the main city attractions
