An out of the way gem of a park
I remember coming here as a little kid with my cousins and treating the park like an adventurer looking at all of the unique rock structures and tree formations. It's a wondrous place and it sort of r...
It is a park with Jodo Matsuyama (= Mushroom Rock), a natural monument designated by Fukushima Prefecture, adjacent to Koriyama Shonen Nature House, rocks such as Hattatami Zashiki, horse saddle, and observatory called Sunsetdai. You can go to Mushroom Rock It feels like crossing a mountain for about 10 minutes, but I went there in the summer daytime, so I sweated a lot. The rock collapsed due to the East Japan Earthquake, and now there is a rope in the mushroom rock area and it is off limits. It seems that he climbed the rock.
It is a place where mushroom rocks like Cappadocia in Turkey are lined up. Youth Nature House is nearby, and ponds and promenades are maintained, making it ideal for playing with a large number of people or picnics with families. But I just went a long time ago.
During the holiday season, you can see a popular plaza for barbecue and Imoni party, and a park called "mushroom rock" that has been eroded and made of strange rocks. Although Mushroom Rock is quite eroded compared to before, it is worth a look from the point that you can see similar scenery even if it is not in Cappadocia in Turkey. However, since you need to climb the mountain road from the square, it is a little hard if it is not suitable for it clothes and footwear.
I went out with my friend's family. The "mushroom rock", which is made of eroded formations, was interesting. It was crowded with many people on the weekend.
