What Miyajima is somewhat about

Apart from the Torii Gate (currently covered), Miyajima is about walking up the mount and walking around the temple, the town and the outskirts in general

Pretty

Located at the far end of the tourist strip this walking area will take you up the hill for a neat view. Very peaceful.

Pleasant walking path

This walking path is beyond the main area of Miyajima. There weren't many people walking that path when we were there and it was nice and peaceful.

Escape from the crowds

It was nice to have a walk and get away from the crowds. The views part way up of the town and the surrounding area are stunning and the walk is peaceful and enjoyable.
