世界遺産「富士山」の構成資産の一つ、樹木を呑み込んだ溶岩がそのまま固まったのち燃え尽きた木の部分が空洞になったもので、やはり富士山信仰の対象。4月以来ずっと休館とのことで残念ながら内部は見られませんでした。HPを確認してからの訪問でしたが、トップページでなく「お知らせ」のところに休業の案内があり分かりづらいので暫くは注意が必要です。

富士吉田や河口湖周辺を1人で周っており、その際に急遽Googleマップなどで見つけた無戸室浅間神社（船津胎内神社） に初めて行き、お参りがてらに洞窟まで入ってきてしまいました。 神社目当てであれば小ぶりです。いわゆる観光地のドーンと構えた神社がお好きな方には向いていないかもしれない。でも、浅間神社好きな人は富士講という、昔から伝わる信仰を垣間見れる点で興味がある方にはおすすめだし、まだまだ穴場だと...
