Birrarung Marr

Birrarung Marr means "river bank" or "small river" in the language of the Wirrungeri people who lived in the Melbourne area before the whites settled. Mar Park is a street garden in the heart of Melbourne's city centre, built along the Yarra River. There is a large Ferris wheel, many locals lined up to ride.
