Qifeng Mountain

It is located on the south side of Kouquanyu, Datong City, 26 kilometers southwest of the urban area. The area is 61 square kilometers, and the main peak is 1714.1 meters above sea level. According to the "Datong County Chronicle": "The seven peaks are Bifeng, Taibai Peak, Jianfeng, Aofeng, Baiyun Peak, Motian Peak, and Jade Girl Peak." The seven peaks are listed. There is a temple at the foot of Zhangren Peak called Zenfang Temple. It was founded in Tang Tianbao years and has been repaired and expanded many times since then. It has been destroyed many times, and now only the stone coupon kiln house remains, which is divided into two courtyards. There are left and right corridors in the front yard, the courtyard is separated by a waist wall, and there is a small door in the middle. There are three main halls in the front of the backyard, and three side halls on the left and right. On the top of Zhangren Peak in Shannan, there is a pagoda of Zenfang Temple in Liao Dynasty. It is a hexagonal and seven-level, solid masonry structure with a height of about 20 meters. The upper stone is carved with lotus petals. The top is the waist, each stone is carved with lotus, peony, boy and other patterns. Each side is engraved with one Buddha and two Bodhisattvas in relief, and there are two layers of lotus beads on the waist, and lotus petals are carved. The eaves and corners of the top of the tower are constructed with bucket arches. Taxi has door and window carvings. The whole carving is rough and concise, full of changes, patterns and patterns, and exquisite carvings. It is the main cultural relic protection unit in Shanxi Province. The Zhangren Peak under the pagoda is closely connected with the seven peaks on the Qifeng Mountain. Looking at the mountains and mountains in the distance, the peaks are abrupt, the trees are lush, and the scenery is unique.
