The Cave Church

The church is much more magnificent than I thought. The church is in Nasir City, and although I got there, I still couldn't find the specific location of the church. A driver called Duke asked two or three people there so he could drive me to the nearby area and let me go alone - a sight that people who first came to Cairo might overlook.

The church is large and the seats inside are simple wooden benches; despite the high temperature of 41 degrees Celsius outside, the inside is still very cool. It is perfect for meditation and reflection on God's love. We found it interesting that the church was just above the Zabbaleen people. Don't miss the past in their village to learn about their lifestyle: how they collect and recycle garbage and make their contribution to the city's livability. The people in the village are usually friendly and the children have a great time.
