The Windows of Nature
This was one of many rock formation on Ruta Nacional 68. Its a wonder to see how nature shapes things. We got to see these formations because we were driving from Salta to Cafayate, but I am not sure ...
Just go slowly because these beautiful places (quebrada de las conchas, anfiteatro, etc) are all very close and there's little or none place where to stop along the route.
We stopped at Las Ventanas as part of our drive along Routa 68 and one of the many stops with the Quebrada de la Conchas. Every stop is worth it as they are all so different. Extremely beautiful scene...
The roads in Salta are spectacular. Most are well paved, but some are not. The scenery keeps changing, and it is hard to stay focused on the road. Las ventanas are very reminiscent of parts of Arizona...

one of the must-sees of the area, las ventanas are beautiful themselves and also open onto an utterly gorgeous landscape. Beautiful!
