Busosan Fortress retains many relics of the Baekje period. Nahwa Rock is the cliff here, and it has been included in the World Cultural Heritage List along with the Baekje Historic Area. The Baekje Dynasty came to an end with the fall of Fusu Mountain City. At that time, about 3,000 palace maids committed suicide by throwing themselves into the White Horse River on the Luohua Rock on the cliff of Fuyu Mountain in order to protect their chastity, hence the name.
