It was included in a group tour and I had lunch at the Nature Center dining room at the last point where I could drive. It takes about 30 minutes to walk to Todowara from here. If there was a flight, there was also a tractor bus for 500 yen one way. It was a terrible heat, so I gave up walking around Todowara.
