#familytrips2024 A peaceful oasis as compared to the Rijksmuseum, the Rijksmuseum Garden is located at the back of the museum and has much lesser people exploring the garden. Take a stroll around the lovely garden and take a rest at one of the many seats available around the garden. There is also a beautiful water fountain in the Rijksmuseum Garden. I will recommend you to take a break in the garden to relax after the grueling museum tour with the overwhelming tourist crowd.

#europetrip A big museum with lots to see, of course masterpieces by Rembrandt, Claude Monet, Vermeer and many more are extremely popular. We did not purchase the tickets in advance to visit on Sunday. All of the museum rooms were properly air-conditioned which was a great plus. The museum staff was friendly and approachable. Personally I was lacking clear museum navigation on where to go and what to look for...l could not even move to any direction because there were so many objects displayed that it was not intuitively obvious. Apart from this, of course it is a great museum to visit!
